Which social media networks do you create content for?

• We focus on creating original content for Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and X/Twitter.

How many posts will you create?

• We create original content that will work well across all platforms and format each post for every network, including adjustments to image dimensions, hashtags and length of the post. You can use any choice of networks: Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, or Linkedin. Up to all 4 on our Growth and Premium plans. If your plan has 12 posts and you use 4 networks, you'll get 48 versions published. If you use 3 networks, you'll get 36 actual versions created.

I already have a social media scheduling tool, can you use mine?

• No, we already have our own integration to offer you a hands-off, fully managed content creation and publishing service. This means we can completely manage the whole content creation and publishing process for you, saving you an incredible amount of time and effort. You can continue using your tools on the side, but F&B Social uses our own tools to handle all content publishing for you. If you'd like to continue using your tool for publishing you can easily download all the content we create for you and import it and publish it with your own tool, though it shouldn't be needed.

What are the benefits of using a social media content agency?

• There are many benefits to outsourced social content creation. It’s a big time-saver! Managing social media isn’t a straightforward task. A lot of effort and time is needed to get it just right. Passing over social media efforts to an agency frees up hours in the week to focus on other areas. Using a content creation service also saves money and is a highly profitable way of doing business. Hiring a third-party agency for social media content creation means you can scale without a costly in-house team.

Do you provide community management or engagement services?

• No, we don't provide this at the moment.

Are you able to make a custom package to suit our needs?

• We typically stick to the packages under our Pricing page. If you are in need of a custom package, please reach out to us!

Why should I hire an agency instead of hiring internally?

• Working with an external partner saves time and money, and gives you access to several experienced professionals who can get the most out of social media. On the other hand, hiring an internal social media team comes with its perks too. You have someone on hand to take photos and videos for you at all times, and be a taste-tester too. However, hiring a Social Media Manager internally is expensive when considering hiring costs, employee perks, pensions, equipment etc.

What do you use as a social media scheduler?

• Our custom scheduling and approvals dashboard securely connects with Buffer as an exclusive API partner. We connect all your social accounts to our Buffer account, and use that to manage the actual posting. This ensures we can post all types of content to all of your social networks, including Instagram. Meta and X are very restrictive with API access and this would be impossible with any other scheduling tool or partner.

Do you do social media advertising as well?

• No, we only create and publish organic social media posts.

Can we use the F&B Social dashboard to create, schedule, and post content?

• No, the dashboard is for you to review and approve content before it goes live. You may also leave feedback or edit the content directly, but you cannot create new content through it. You can, however, download all the content we create for you, and import it and publish it with your own tool. If you don't have a scheduling tool, we highly recommend using Pallyy.

Do you send us the content to post, or do you handle posting?

• We will schedule and post everything for you. Your dedicated Social Media Manager will double check your content to make sure everything is posted correctly and on time!

Will I be able to view your current clients/content?

• We have current examples listed under our Examples page.

How is the content published to our social media accounts after it's approved?

• We use social media management tools like Buffer and Pallyy to schedule and post content automatically to your social media accounts.

Where are your clients? Do you work with the U.S.?

• We have clients all across North America, the UK, and Asia-Pacific.

Content
What kind of posts do you create?

• We create original social media content that positions your restaurant as a leader in its field, showcases products and trends, and drives engagement on social media and/or traffic towards your website. All content includes scroll-stopping, engaging original graphics, created just for you, and extended supporting copy and captions.

Do you adapt the graphics and captions for each social network?

• We will optimise the captions, graphics, and hashtags for each platform. The topic of the content will stay the same on all 4 platforms.

Can I check everything you write before it goes live?

• Yes, whenever your content is ready, we’ll send you a reminder via email so you can access your dashboard to review and approve all content before it goes out.

Do you also create video posts and reels?

• Yes! We create custom video content for all social platforms featuring your own footage or a combination of stock footage and graphic elements. See our Plans with Video (check the switch above our price plans) that include reels and video posts.

Is the content tailored for specific restaurant types or niche cuisines?

• For any and all F&B (food & beverage) businesses, we will research and learn about your cuisine to ensure we are creating content that is relative to your niche. We use the term 'restaurant' throughout the website for consistency. However, our service caters to any type of food shop, including but not limited to: bakeries, bars, bistrots, boulangeries, butcheries, cafés, cantinas, caterers, coffeeshops, delis, diners, eateries, food trucks, grocers, patisseries, pubs, and more.

Is it important to send you high-quality images for our social media?

• While it is not essential, we highly recommend taking time to compile photo assets to help our designers and writers create content. The higher quality the image, the higher quality the post.

Can you make unique content for each network?

• We'll optimise each piece of content to each network, but the content itself will remain the same. For example, we'll make the copy shorter or longer as needed, resize images and videos according to each platform’s standard sizing, or add more hashtags on Instagram and fewer hashtags on X/Twitter. You can select which of the networks we should post on.

When you say you'll post up to 4 different networks, does this mean you'll change the actual post graphics/captions for each social network?

• We optimise copy for each platform, meaning we will adjust the hashtags and portions of the text to make sure it will perform on all platforms.

How do you ensure that you have the necessary images for successful social media posts?

• We work with you to obtain high-quality photos. We encourage you to upload new photos every one or two months, so we always have fresh material to work with. If no photos are provided, we will use stock imagery.

How does content calendar planning work? How much notice do you need for last-minute posts?

• As we get you onboarded, our Lead Content Manager will send you a guideline on how we'll plan your content calendar. Your dedicated Social Media Manager will submit content to you on the 20th of every month, and then after approvals they will schedule them for the following month. We ask that you submit any assets and requests no later than the 5th of the month, to give your Social Media Manager plenty of time to create the best possible content, make any requested edits, and get it scheduled on time.

What restaurants do you create content for?

• We can handle any and all restaurants. Our process includes a thorough analysis and research of our clients.

Who will create the content?

• Our team is made up of talented social media managers and content creators in the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, and NZ, with experience creating engaging designs and captions, specifically for social media. They are equally great designers and talented copywriters. You will be assigned to one of our team members who will take the time to get to know your brand, your target market, customer personas, brand personality, and branding guidelines. We strive to create content that is always on-brand and of the highest quality. We work with you to deliver original, well-researched, custom-designed social media content; content that aligns with your target audience and creates affinity and connection between your brand and your customers.

Can we share ideas, photos, or assets for content?

• Yes, you can share any files with us (via Google Drive or over email). As part of the onboarding process we ask for any assets you might have (logo, brand colours, images). We'll use these to create original graphics, following your preferences.

Do you also create carousel, GIFs, or Stories?

• No, we focus on creating high quality, in-feed posts with original copy, graphics, optionally video and reels. We believe this is what 90% of restaurants really need on social media. We don't dismiss the value of other formats, but since we can't create and deliver them at the level of quality and with the user experience we want to be able to offer, for the moment we don't offer them.

What assets (logos, product images, fonts etc.) will you require from us? Do you use stock images?

• We can create content with no assets, but we recommend you provide your logo and brand guide. We can use stock images, your assets, or both depending on your preference and how much content we can get from you.

Onboarding / Process
What access will you require from us?

• We will gather your social media login credentials during the onboarding process, in order to publish content for you on your behalf.

How do I keep my social media manager in the loop with our upcoming events and news?

• Simply email us! Typically we'll use Google Drive so you can easily share all of your assets, menus, flyers, etc. We can go through all of your existing material, do our own research, and pull what we need to create your content. And because you'll be working with our small team long-term, we can really get to know your business and needs, so the process will get even easier over time.

What does the approvals dashboard look like?

• We will send you a custom URL (it will look something like https://app.fnb.social/b/p5uu7qcmrs-your-brand-name) to review and approve content. This is what your dashboard will look like:

Billing
Do you have a free trial?

• Yes, you can try our service for free for 7 days. During this period you'll receive a first batch of content and get access to your dashboard to try first-hand all features of content and approvals process.

Is the billing done at the start of every month?

• Billing will be 7 days after your date of sign-up and repeat monthly on the 10th. The first month will be prorated based on the date of sign-up.

Can the campaign be stopped at any time?

• You can pause content creation at any time. For cancellations we require 30 days' notice from your billing date. That means all cancellations will have one final payment and one more month of content (with the exception of cancellations on the 10th).

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

• Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time with 30 days' notice. The content changes will be applied to the next month of content and the billing change will be reflected on the next billing date.

Are there any other costs with getting started?

• No, there are no other costs with getting started. Everything is covered in our monthly subscription fee.
